I brought my mother (Kathleen) to see your show last night in the Millennium Forum, Derry. She loved the whole performance. It was actually a present for her 80th birthday. Paddy read out a few requests, if I had only known I would have sent one in for Mum. She was reminiscing that she first saw the Chieftains play in Bellaghy Hall many, many years ago! She wold have loved to have met you all last night to tell you how much she enjoyed the show and to thank you for all the years of enjoymen

You music, starting from when I first saw Barry Lyndon in 1976, has lifted my spirits, made me want to dance, and brought the heart and soul of being Irish into my life. My music collection includes more of your works than any other artist - I never get tired of it! May God always bless each of you for your talent and your desire to share it with the world.

Thank you Paddy Maloney for greeting my (then)young daughters at the Randalls Island NYC festival. I love The Long Black Veil. Espcially Ry's Coast of Malabar. I heard it as a boy at family parties.Tom Jones' Tennesee Waltz and the rest of it: Timeless! Chieftains Live at the Billymunk (upstairs) missing from the discography (did Moss pay?)

Saw you lads on the tv last night. You may have aged a bit since the first film clips, but the magic's still well and truly there. Would love the chance to see you in England one of these times. The whole family (Scotish parentage on my husband's side, but hey, no one's perfect!) are Cheiftan fans, and have been for well over 30 years. Long may you continue to entertain, and long may you continue to be entertained by entertaining. All best wishes. MD

I wanted to extend my tremendous gratefulness for your music. I am convinced that not only is your music wonderful to listen to, but I thoroughly believe that it is good for you. I turn it on, real loud, and I start dancing my own made up jigs to your music, thinking what it must sound like coming from a lively pub or at a family gathering. Your music is inspiring and I thank you for bringing such wonderful, wholesome music to our grateful ears. God bless you!

A chбirde, We've had all sorts of collaborations which I and many fans have enjoyed over the years, but sadly no "Scottish" album! Isn't it about time the boys stretched the hand across the water and livened up those tame strathspeys and country dances?? Best wishes from Madrid

Greetings--I attended your concert in Birmingham, Alabama USA during the Irish festival in 1980. I also own Chieftains 3 on vinyl LP which I cannot seem to find in digital format. Your rendition of "The March of the King of Laois" on that album, which refers to my great x5 grandfather, Rory Og O Mordha, is still my favorite. --Kenneth Smith, Monroe, Louisiana USA

I love your music! I first saw you play in Providence, RI, on March 9, 1999 (my 40th birthday!), and it was the best concert I'd ever seen. I also saw you in Tucson, AZ, in January of 2007 (another great concert!), and now I'm going to try my hardest to make it down to Washington, D.C. for the March 9th concert. Can't think of a better way to celebrate my 50th birthday!!!

Okay this is going to sound completly random but I had a dream last night, and I dreamnt that I got you to listen to my mum's demo CD, and you invited her to your recording studio in Bieuzy. Yes, I told you it was quite random :p Anyway, I may aswell try now...my mum has an amazing voice and so much potential, I would give anything for her to be recognized. She grew up in Ireland so is familiar to all the traditional Irish songs. I mean it when I say that to me she has the most beautiful voice

How much nor talk about treason, and all the little. It seems as there are men and women, the topic never exhausted until the end. Ironically struggled with this scourge of mankind: even in relatively mild (in this sense) from pagan times treasonmen been quite tough, adultery and remains favourite sin of mankind. It is painful treason, recently more and more often people refer to it as an inevitable evil.
